How to Write a Romantic Poem For Your Boyfriend in This Valentine's Day

So, it's that time of the year again when love fills the air and all you can think about is reminiscence about the many lovely times you've spend with your man. If you're thinking about giving him something special from the heart, instead of spending lots on something off the shelves, why not get him something priceless instead? Write him a romantic poem and brighten up his Valentine's Day.

If you've got no idea on how to start, then instead of going straight for composing, why not start by listing out what you want to write instead. The best way to do this is to write out everything you love about him. You could write something about how he treats you right, or how he puts a smile on your face or how he cheers up your dull days or the way he makes your heart jump and so on.

Once you've got the grounds of the poem, take a look at other romantic poems or love poems on the internet and get inspired from there. Most of the time, you write best when you get ideas from other writers so take your time and read a lot of other poems and then go back to your list. You would also want to be relaxed and not stress over how to write the poem. The more you think about it, the more likely you are to get anxious about it. So relax and free your mind and it will come to you.

With the list of things you like about your man, slowly construct them together into a poem. You could add in a pet name, his name or whatever it is that you may call him to make it even more personal. Also, don't worry about making it rhyme, not every line has got to be in sync. Do keep in mind that love and romance is best spontaneous and doesn't need to be perfect, the best poems are those that are sincere and not stitched to perfection, so use your thoughts and just pen them down as you go.

If you're the kind of person to bottle up how you feel, then maybe it's about time to wear your heart on your sleeve and write out all you feel about him as well. If you've yet to tell him you love him, maybe this could be a great time.

"Welcome to the Jungle" Redhurricane's photos around Phanom, Thailand (thailand malaysia travel)

Preview of Redhurricane's blog at TravelPod. Read the full blog here: www.travelpod.com This blog preview was made by TravelPod using the TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow creator. Entry from: Phanom, Thailand Entry Title: "Welcome to the Jungle" Entry: "From Ao Nang, we endured another minibus adventure, because that was the only way to get to Khao Sok National Park. We were told by the various operators that the bus would take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to get to Khao Sok. When you figure in the 1-hour stop at their tourist machine/bus station, it was closer to 4. We arrived to a rousing Thai welcome. The bus brought us to a hotel near the park. We got out to check the rooms and asked if they had air conditioning. Of course they said yes, but when we got there, no. The A/C unit must have vanished on the way up the stairs to the (bungalows on stilts!) room. We got back in the van to our driver who seemed very nervous that we didn't stay. He brought us to the place across the street. We asked him if there were any other hotels closer to the park entrance. He said no. We didn't believe him, go figure. We had him just bring us to the park entrance. It very much pained him to do so and he got very grumpy very quickly. When we got to the park entrance, there were three hotels right there! Imagine that....poor little guy didn't get that commission from his buddies. Shame. When we got out of the bus, we immediately came to the realization that we were alone. All alone. Other ...

Dog Gate - Building Your Own Dog Gate

Dogs are such lovable animals. They are, indeed, man's best friend. But they can become messy and can really create havoc inside your house when left on their own. This is where a dog gate can be of use. There are many types of gates that you can buy in the market today. Their prices range from low to expensive. The most ingenious way is to create your own which only entails simple, easy steps.

Gather the Materials

Like any other project, the first thing that you are going to do is to gather the necessary materials. First, you need to purchase two pieces of PVC pipe. Be sure that it measures four inches less than the width of your doorway. Then, you need to buy two pieces of PVC pipe; the height of which vary according to your specific needs. Buying PVC pipes is not a problem at all because you can find them almost anywhere. But before you go out buying one, you need to measure the doorway where you are going to put the gate.

Be sure that you have a PVC pipe cutter for cutting PVC to their exact measurement. On top of that, you need to have 4 90-degree PVC pipe corners, cable ties and mesh as well as screen or cloth whichever you prefer.

Make the Frame

With the use of your PVC cutter, cut the PVC pipes according to your specifications and lengths. Apply the 4 90-degree PVC corners to connect them and make the frame for the gate. Then, fit your mesh cloth or wire screen inside the frame and secure them with cable ties.

Secure the Gate

Now, it is time to put the gate in the doorway. There are at least three ways to secure your gate. If your frame is small enough, you can use hinges, like the ones used for chain-link fences, to secure it to the door frame. Another way is by using cable ties or rope to tie the gate in place. This will allow you to remove the gate every now and then or as long as you want the gate to stay in place.

The third way is by using the spring-loaded shower curtain rods and T-corners instead of the 90-degree corners. The curtain rods will hold the gate in the doorway while the T-corners will allow you to insert the rods through the pipe at the bottom and top of the gate making secure.

The steps mentioned above are simply easy. With a little effort, you can make your pet safe and secure.

Take the Hostility Out of Your Hound - Prevent Dog Leash Barrier Aggression

You adore your dog but this doesn't mean everyone else does. In fact, if your dog suffers from dog leash barrier aggression, he just might be the neighborhood's resident four-pawed villain. It's time you stop looking at your hound with eyes full of love and start looking for a fix to this behavior problem.

He yanks against his leash. He chews on it. He barks aggressively each time he is crated, fenced in, or sitting behind a car window. Do any of these sound familiar? If they do, that's because your dog suffers from dog leash barrier aggression. Left unchecked, this hostility will turn even the most easygoing of pups into a monster.

To solve dog leash barrier aggression, begin by changing your dog's negative perception of leashes and barriers. Show him leashes and barriers are not the twin evils he believes them to be. How? Use these steps.

1. A tight leash leads to leash antagonism. Prevent dog leash barrier aggression by keeping the leash loose. With a loose leash, your dog will not feel constricted or choked.

2. Check your own behavior while you're walking the dog around. Do you tense up? Do you tug on the leash too tight? Breathe slowly. Relax. Your own uptight behavior towards the leash could be causing dog leash barrier aggression.

3. Arm yourself with treats and put your dog behind a barrier - a gate, for example, or a crate. Then, do the following:

o Give your dog one stick treat.

o Replenish his stash as soon as the first one has been eaten.

o Stop only after you've given him five stick treats.

o Wait for a few minutes. If your dog stays calm, give him five more stick treats. If he starts howling and hitting the barrier, say nothing and walk away.

Dogs learn from association. To prevent dog leash barrier aggression problems, help your dog see leashes and barriers as friends, not fiends. When he does, you help your dog become not just well-mannered but also well-adjusted.

Don't just stop training your dog here... The most important responsibility you have as a dog owner is keeping your dog behavior problems under control. Start now by learning how to fix any dog behavior problem at www.Dog-Training-Works.com. Check it out now!

RV Innovators - Adding Electric Fireplace Units As Supplemental Heat Options to Vehicles

Recreational vehicle owners have always been able to find new, innovative ways to bring the comforts of home on the road with them. One of today's newest additions to recreational vehicles is the small electric fireplace.

Electric fireplaces first appeared in homes both for economical supplemental heating and to create fireplace facades that were child and pet friendly. These units are set up in high traffic rooms to provide zone heating when rooms were occupied, allowing the home's thermostat to be set lower and save on heating costs. They are also used in homes where normal fireplaces may present a safety hazard for children or pets or a fire hazard in small apartments or homes without a chimney or flue.

Recreational vehicles owners soon saw the potential in these small electric fireplaces and started using them in their RV's. Their variety of styles including built-in models, easy installation and effective supplemental heating combined with the aesthetic feel of a fireplace made them an instant hit on the road in addition to the home.

Using A Small Electric Fireplace In An RV

Typically, RV owners will choose either a freestanding electric fireplace stove or a built-in electric firebox insert. Each choice provides a fireplace experience including supplemental heating.

Freestanding electric units make excellent choices for RV supplemental heating. Originally used in smaller rooms, apartments, and condos, their portability made them excellent for zone heating in different rooms during each part of the day. This same convenience makes them popular for use in recreational vehicles. A small electric fireplace can be set up anywhere in a vehicle that its owner's want to use it, including outside at a campsite or parking lot. Their compact design allows them to fit in tight spaces and cubbyholes without the need for a fire grate or the clearance that a wood or gas burning stove requires.

RV owners may also select an electric firebox to build in a cabinet or below a television. These fireboxes do not require any clearance, so they are safe to simply plug in and fit inside a wood cavity. Making efficient use of limited space, RV owners are able to enjoy the comfort of heating and the ambiance of a fireplace even within a recreational vehicle.

Ease Of Installation

Traditional fireplaces in the home require a lot of work to install, whether it is a new construction or a remodeling. Every gas or wood burning appliance needs a vent to the outside, fire safety barriers and coverings, and heat proof materials. Obviously, this type of set up does not work in an RV.

Freestanding units are portable and obviously do not require installation. Simply plug your electric fireplace stove into a 110v outlet and enjoy. No venting or heat barriers are required.

For those who want a custom look, electric fireboxes can be easily built into even the most cramped RV. These electric fireplaces are self contained and instantly create the ambiance and warmth of a traditional fireplace. With a little effort, the firebox can be installed within a cabinet or any wall recess.

Whether you choose a portable electric fireplace or a built-in firebox application, there are no venting or clearance issues to be concerned with. There are no carbon monoxide hazards or flame hazards, so there is almost no limit to where they can be used. Their facades are cool to the touch, meaning children and pets will be safe around the units.

Efficient Supplemental Heating While Creating Ambiance

In addition to all of these practical benefits that RV owners have discovered from electric heating, small electric fireplaces also add comfort and ambiance to any vehicle. Simulated flames and facades put off that same feeling as if one were at home sitting in front of a wood fire. Due to their safety features, families can gather around them either inside the RV or outside without fear of any fire hazards. The elegant facades will also blend seamlessly into an RV's decor.

In the end, a small electric fireplace fills many roles in the home while RV owners have found even more applications for use in their vehicles. Safe and comforting warmth is available even on the longest road trip.

The Proper Way to Store Pet Food

Pet food is a considerable expense, particularly for owners with many or large pets. For those who take special pains to provide their pets with high-quality food, waste due to spoilage can be a real pressure on one's budget and time. Moreover, even food that is not visibly spoiled can lose its nutritional value if not stored properly. Proper storage of your pet's food is a smart choice for any pet owner.

Pet food storage aims to ward off a variety of threats to the integrity of the food: mold, bacteria, insects, even oxygen itself. The presence of oxygen causes oxidation- the same chemical process that causes iron to rust. This will deplete the nutritional value of food. Although oxidation can't be perfectly prevented, short of vacuum-sealing the food, it can be reduced. Whenever possible, keep food in its original container, and place that inside a sealable container. This will reduce airflow to the food, keeping it fresh longer.

Bacteria are the second major threat to the quality and safety of your pet's food. Bacteria thrive in conditions that are warm, moist, and dark. Darkness isn't a factor that can easily be removed from pet food storage, but you can certainly control temperature and moisture to some degree. Find a cool, dry place in your house to store your pet's food. Avoid basements and bathrooms, as these tend to attract moisture- perhaps a shaded area outside that remains dry, a garage, or under a counter in the kitchen (not under the sink!). The same guidelines apply to mold prevention. Keep in mind that while refrigeration will help protect the nutritional value of pet food, it may cause it to become less appealing to the pet, even after being re-warmed.

Insects can be a major pest when it comes to storing your pet's food. Hopefully, your container seals tightly enough to prevent them from entering. Otherwise, try surrounding your container with a barrier of baby powder, or another fine powder. Ants and other non-flying insects have difficulty crossing such barriers. You can also use a bug spray such as Raid, but make sure it has completely dried before placing the container in the area- you don't want fumes from the spray contaminating your pet food.

Finally, no matter how scrupulously you attend to your pet food storage, all pet food has a limited lifespan. Look for the "Best Used By" date on your pet food packaging, and don't buy more food than you can use in that time.

When storing your pet food you should always go with a quality pet food storage containers. These storage containers are designed to keep your pet's food fresh and tasty and to keep other animals, both wild and domestic, out of the food. The quality of the dog food storage and cat food storage containers make all the difference.

Blanka Vlasic 208 - High Jump Women

vinovo.magnify.net - Blanka Vlasic VIDEOS Zagreb, Croatia For Blanka Vlasic, theres no place like home. The two-time World champion capped the finest series of her career with a sensational 2.08m leap to become the second highest jumper of all-time at the Zagreb Grand Prix on Monday (31). The Croatian heroines leap, which came on her first attempt, capped a thoroughly entertaining edition of the annual Zagreb meeting, perhaps the finest in its 59 years. Blanka Vlasic new record - 208 cm IAAF meeting zagreb While Vlasic clearly rose to the occasion, others could not. Anna Chicherova, the Berlin silver medallist who jumped her 2.04m PB here last year, topped out at 1.94m to finish a distant second. It was standing room only at the stadium again this year, largely because of Vlasic. How devoted are some of the popular jumpers fans? Andra Cojocaru, a 13-year-old national age group champion from the eastern Romanian city of Bacau, made a 17-hour trek with her mother, father and brother to witness her hero jump. Picking up where he left off in Berlin, World Hammer throw champion Primoz Kozmus dominated the competition from the second round. After a foot foul on his first throw, the 29-year-old Slovenian reached 80.35m in the second to add 31 centimetres to the meet record set by Krisztian Pars a year ago. It was more than enough for the victory Pars was well back in second with a 79.18m best effort but Kozmus was just warming up. After a lacklustre 78.49m in the third round, he ...

Invisible Fence stops Guard Dogs

PetStop invisible fence demonstrates here how well it works as these German Shepherds can't break this invisible force field for very long without receiving the highest level of correction (shock) by the collar they each are wearing around their neck. What you can't see is that under the snow buried in the ground is a cable the sends a signal to each dog via a collar worn around the dogs neck. The dogs first hear a audible tone letting them to know to back off they are too close to the boundry line. If you listen closely you can hear the tone from the lighter colored dog and then he backs up knowing he is about to receive a shock if he does not.

Different Kinds of Dog Seat Covers and How to Use Them

We spend a lot of time and money with our cars, and pets love to go with us. After all, who doesn't like to take to the open road, let our worries slip away and hang our head out the window panting? However, the cars and the pets need protection from each other. Car seats are a great idea but are sometimes costly. Carriers are economical and easy to use but are uncomfortable to the pets. Looking for a way to protect your car without spending the money on a car seat for your dog? You might want to look into investing in a seat-cover. I'm going to explain the different types of seat covers available on the market today. A little later, I'll walk you through the steps necessary to properly install a dog seat cover in your car.

The old phrase "dogs are people too" isn't exactly true. Regular seat covers are good for wear and tear caused by humans, but not designed for pet issues. Pet specific covers are great for doing the job and recently have started to cost the same as their human counterparts. These are made of materials that are more durable and are designed for easily handling pet hair and odors. They are also great at handling little messes made by our little friends.

Seat covers can vary in style and design. They come in a wide range of colors, fabrics, patterns, textures and available features. In addition, there are covers, which are generic in style or made specifically for vehicle types such as for SUVs' larger luxury seats, pickup truck benches, as well as bucket seats. Many automakers today even offer dog seat covers for specific models in their product lines. The best thing to do if you have multiple cars to save a little bit of cash is decide which vehicle your pet will be riding in the most. Install the seat cover in that vehicle.

One of these add-on items is called a pet barrier. After all the other reason for a dog, car seat is for safety. However if you decide not to use an actual car seat then you should invest in a barrier to separate the front of the car from the rear of the vehicle.

If for example you have to slam on your brakes, you do not want your dog coming up front with you. For one reason, there is the chance that the dog could hurt himself. Second, nobody wants to hit the brakes hard and wind up with a Golden Retriever in their lap. Barriers are great for keeping the pet isolated in the cargo bed if you have guests in the car that might not be comfortable around animals. Many Municipalities are now requires the use of seat attached restraints or barriers when having a pet in the vehicle.

The first thing that you will want to do is to measure the area of your backseat. Many covers just slip over the headrest on most vehicles. Next follow the instructions very carefully to fasten the cover down securely, this will prevent injury to you, your car and ensure the safety of the pet and the vehicle.

Once you have the cover in place fasten it down and you're ready to go. If you get lost along the way simply check out the diagram instruction given with most styles. If you have any questions or concerns revisit the store where you purchased the cover. Most times the staff has been trained to assist customers with proper installation. If you bought your cover online call the website producer or the manufacturer with any issues, they will usually be glad to help.

Most Dog Car Seat Covers sell for around $50 to $100 depending on the brand and the type of application you are installing. Another factor on price is the vehicle in question. A compact will cost less than say an SUV with minivans and pickups falling between. Have fun taking your Dog Traveling with you and be safe!
