Barrier Island Station - Duck NC

An RCI Timeshare on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We were pretty disappointed with this resort. No assigned parking made it difficult and the kitchen was missing. On the plus side, the AC worked great and the beach was beautiful although a pretty long walk. If I was going to the Outer Banks I would stay at the one in Nags Head at maybe 15 or 16? it is right on the beach. Not real fancy but very on the beachy. Seascape is the best if you like golf because you get several free greens fees and it is a decent course and you can park at Wink's for free right across from the beach. Big family place and they are building a huge new rec center. Take my word for it, we have been going to the Outer Banks for 30 years and Barrier Island Station is the worst place there unless you hook up with one of the big units right near the beach. Don't settle for anything less, do your homework.
